After playing with the cactus comments a little bit yesterday, I started playing with themes for this site. Since it takes modifying each theme to get the comments to work, I created a little utility to automatically modify pelican themes to use cactus.chat.
All of the details are on the github page so I won't rehash everything here.
Why 'poke'
Well there are two reasons. The first is since it has to do with cactus.chat and cactuses are pokey, that was the first thing that popped into my head. Also, the poke.sh pokes its nose into the template's business and injects (like a needle, which is also pokey) the contents into the theme templates. So it's essentially a lame dad joke.
